Bojana Petrić is Reader in Applied Linguistics and TESOL in the Department of Languages, Cultures and Applied Linguistics at Birkbeck, University of London. Previously she taught at the University of Essex (UK), Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary), Central European University (Hungary) and University of Novi Sad (Serbia). She has co-authored Experiencing Master’s Supervision: Perspectives of International Students and their Supervisors (Routledge 2017) and co-edited Thinking Home: Interdisciplinary Dialogues (Bloomsbury 2018). She was one of the founders of the Professional, Academic, and Work-Based Literacies (PAWBL) SIG within the British Association for Applied Linguistics. She has served as the Book Reviews Editor and Associate Editor for the Journal of English Academic Purposes and as a member of the Board of the European Association for the Teaching of Academic Writing (EATAW).
Agnes Pisanski Peterlin, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia
Agnes Pisanski Peterlin is a Professor of Translation Studies at the Department of Translation Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She received her PhD in linguistics in 2006 from the University of Ljubljana. She is currently the Head of the Department of Translation. She has been the principal investigator of two bilateral US-Slovene research projects focusing on the role of digital technologies in academic literacy development, and involved in a wide range of research projects since her PhD. She has published studies on the translation of texts for specific purposes, contrastive rhetoric, academic discourse, English as a lingua franca, translator training, and online educational tools. She teaches language, culture and translation courses at the Department of Translation, University of Ljubljana.
